Boys Don't Cry Series: An investigation of Black masculinity through the lens of my relationship to the first friends I made in college. Who all have a special bond with each other that I have never seen in a male friendship. Each of them are so unique in how they express themselves. They have now separated from their expected identities, because of this new start they are finally able to be who they really are. Which is both liberating, but also confusing for them because now they have to figure out who they are. Their friendship gives them reassurance that they are not embarking on this journey alone.
